  • March 5 -- Downtown Eugene, Inc. (DEI). Rob Bennett, DEI board member and marketing/communications committee chair, will discuss the organization's current initiatives and their involvement in revitalizing the downtown core. He will touch on recent successes as well as continuous challenges DEI faces in their efforts to create an environment inviting to all segments of the community
  • April 2 -- Introducing a National Brand to a New Region. Dollar General Corporation's director of corporate communications, Crystal Ghassemi, APR, will share the commnications challenges related to the long-distance introduction of a national brand to a new region of the country.  In this case study, she will discuss Dollar General's entry into the Pacific Northwest market.
  • May 7 -- Meet the Eugene/Springfield Media.  Traditionally, the most popular meeting of the year, this is your chance to meet with top editors, writers and reporters from our area, hear their candid thoughts about their trade and our relationships with them AND ask your questions. This year, we will offer a survey to see who you'd most like to see on this always well-attended panel. Look for the survey early this month!

  • July 2 – GOPRSA is On Vacation, Happy Summer! No meeting.
  • August 6 -- Spring Networking Social. In addition to the opportunity to network with professional colleagues, we're looking to provide a little fun professional development, as well.
